Writing or not writing down "to do list"?

Personal experience is usually the best experience - we all know that!
I'm into the second week of vacation and though I'm away from a 9-5 job, I still have other things to attend to.
I've been making mental notes of what I should attend to within each day, but that is as far as it got to - by day end my mental list was unattended to, and some what rolled over to the next day. After one week of going through this, I realized that it was becoming a bad unproductive habit.
So, this morning I got a piece of paper, sat down and proceeded to write my "Today to do list".
It is now approximately 5pm and I'm pleased to see that out of the 7 things, 6 has been attended to.
Wow, this taught me a very important lesson - writing out a "Today to do list" does make a very productive difference. Regardless if the list comprises of fun things like reading a book, meeting a friend for coffee, grocery shopping, or posting in your blog...writing it out at the beginning of the day will empower you to go get the job done.
The feeling of accomplishment in seeing the "to dos'"being crossed off is a rewarding in itself.

We all know about the benefits of doing certain things, but sometimes we delay in getting to it - if this is something you've been thinking about doing, now is the time to apply it, I promise taking action will wow you!
