To my Collegues at BCOU/TRU

After 11 years of working for a great University it was time to say good-bye. (BCOU merged with University college of the Cariboo, to form TRU). Relocated to Kamloops! 11 years of growth, personally and professionally, of meeting great people who have become great friends is a win win for a great book all round.
Every chapter was different, and that added to the sweetness of the past 11 years - no regrets, only a few disappointments.
Show me a job or a life without its ups and downs and I'll label it one word "boring"! When we're faced with ups and downs in life, it is meant to simply sift out the bad and strengthen the good to make things and relationships better!
It is a beautiful thing to watch - strangers with different back grounds, race, gender, tastes, likes, dislikes, and purpose could come together and live as family.
Sure,we work to earn a living to enjoy a comfortable lifestyle, pay bills, go on vacation etc. Yet we come together to serve - without giving/serving we get nothing - be it a pay cheque or a "thank you".
For some of us at the then BCOU, now TRU we served for as long as 25 years - what faithfulness and passion to serve with a purpose in mind;to see this great project carry on, grow stronger and live.
We all left there knowing that we gave it our all, our best to the end! We can sleep well at night knowing that, and praying that those who now carry the mantle will do an even greater job to preserve the vision, dream and purpose of BCOU, and now TRU.
Live on TRU, live on!
