Reality Check-In and head shake!

I think it is not only healthy, but necessary to take regular reality check-in on the functionality of our lives.
In doing so I find it not only helps to put things in order, but give our heads a serious shake - I had to endure a few shakes this AM. Here's my story!

I'm a hockey fan and my favourite team "Vancouver Canucks" has made it to the finals, passed the first round and now into the second round. Despite putting on an excellent performance last night on home turf, with a sweet lead of into the second period of 2 goals with the Ducks at zero. Then everything changed in the third period - game tied;went into overtime, I went to bed with a sinking feeling.
What do you know the Ducks came back and won! Now the standing is Ducks 3 - Canucks 1 and tomorrow is D-Day for them.
I actually woke up discouraged and down about my team's loss.

What? Crazy I say but there I was - then it was head shaking time because let's face it - it is only a game, though the most important - playing for the Stanley Cup!

I had to snap out of this dark cloud because first it isn't healthy and second IF I should be down let it be for something that would move me to action, let it be for the need of another. Definitely, let it not be for any game...including hockey!
Go Canucks go!
