I'm currently away on business for 2 weeks, with a friend/colleague. Jas has been on the grounds of this Campus for at least 6 weeks and counting, and I find that every time I'm with her on our walks along the trails, there is always something pertaining to the animal kingdom that she draws to my attention.
It is as if Jas designed the campus, and placed the birds with their nest, the vermin with their babies, etc in their locations, because she finds them - in the most bazaar places that you won't normally look. She's the mother hen, and makes her rounds when on campus to visit her "friends".
No, Jas isn't a kid or teenager either:-)
Though I do not react or respond and kick up my heels in glee over these findings like Jas, I do enjoy seeing the delight on her face when she sees one of her babies.
Lesson learned? What may not float your boat, will surely float another:-)
