Right where you're at you can if you will activate the attitude of being a contented person, would not just be an amazing experience, but one that you will look to repeat again and again, because of the effects of exercising this gift. Not saying that you give in to what you don't like and just pretend - let me share my recent experience.
I'm using the TP in the hotel I'm at and the thought came "this is sure rough". Immediately following that thought I said "but, I have TP to use" and pictured what it would be like without any:-)
I popped a bagel in the toaster and realized it was a bit stale - but, I have something to eat.
I burnt half of the bagel, but I still had the other half to eat.
I know I had the choice to react in a negative way, but I'm glad I didn't because it caused an attitude of contentment to rise. I've never experienced hunger, and I get to eat whenever I want, so if my food isn't the freshest or if part is burnt I still get to eat.
I learnt a valuable lesson today that I intend to build on for the rest of my life - there's something wonderfully freeing and peaceful when the attitude of contentment is in play.
