Time off without prior plans, sometimes

turns out to be the better than preplanned ones. Well, sometimes it is, as it was the case for me - I've been off work since last Thursday and made no plans for my time off to Wednesday of this week, except to study, study, study!
Thursday, I ended up spending some fun, quality time with a good friend CK - did the shopping thing, then relaxed over a nice lunch with a beauty of a day as a bonus.
Friday my time was spent studying, studying, and a late movie night.
Saturday, cleaning, studying, and met a friend for an Easter Celebration concert at a church with a 50 plus orchestra band with a choir of about 60. It was a packed house of 1800 and it was refreshing and moving.
Sunday was church - a time for me to celebrate with others the Resurrection of Christ, then spent some time helping friends proof and tweak their paper and resume/cover letter. Then Easter dinner at friends' home.
Today, a bit windy, but the sun is out - I'm content, blessed, overjoyed, and at peace over God's goodness in my life. He is my constant!
So, though my time off wasn't preplanned, it sure has been the best time off to date.
Now time to make a few calls, then hit the books.
