It makes a big and positive difference

when we stop to be thankful!
I know life isn't a bed of roses and being on this journey has its ups and downs. It is so easy sometimes to just give into feelings and behaviour that isn't healthy. Sometimes we don't set out to, but because we're so tired it just happens, then afterwards we usually kick ourselves for being that way.

I choose to think that there are more people who live that way than not!
Yet I've found that when I find myself in places where I'm dissatisfied, complaining etc. I would stop and "give thanks" and remind myself of the things that I am blessed with and thankful for.

It is in those moments that I really see the value of "thankfulness" and the benefits it adds to your soul.
Yesterday after my dentist's appointment I boarded the bus to work and found the bus driver to be extremely grumpy!
A few passengers asked him questions and he literally snapped at them. I was tempted to say something to him about his manner, but because I'd just had work done on my teeth and my mouth was frozen, it won't have been a good move on my part.

I cannot understand the "why" some people would be so rude to customers; especially in a "customer service environment".
Well, back from that rabbit trail - remember to stop ever so often and be thankful, it is another great ingredient for living a great life!
